Hmmmmm . . .

We tried the "Tokyo Style" soba kit from Trader Joe's. I love Trader Joe's (and the Thai Tom Yum Cashews I discovered this week are exquisite!!!!!!!) but the soba doesn't taste like any kind I've ever had in Japan, ever. It's good, but more like Korean bimbimbap, mainly sesame oil flavor, which is delicious, but not soba or yakisoba. Anyway, I envy your dinner.
